Paris Hilton was moved to tears as she was handed a prize for her humanitarian work

The millionaire reality TV star, along with her sister Nicky and mother Kathy, was given the accolade by the Starlight Children’s Foundation for her philanthropy efforts.

Following a silent auction and a cocktail dinner at the Century Plaza Hyatt Hotel in Los Angeles, the Hiltons were presented with their Heart of Gold trophies.

Hilton took to Twitter.com after the event to tell her fans about the emotional night, writing, “Such a beautiful evening tonight accepting my award for the humanitarian work I do with the children of the Starlight Foundation. Such a heartwarming night listening to all the parents’ speeches. I was so touched that I cried.

“These families and their children go through so much and my heart and prayers are with them. It’s such an amazing feeling to give back and make a difference in someone’s life. I am so honoured to be apart of such an amazing cause.”

And the following day Hilton continued her charity work by taking part in a run alongside singer Fergie, her husband Josh Duhamel and Glee star Dianna Agron, to raise money for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief effort.

Paris Hilton Zone

Hilton has worked as a model, actress, singer, and engaged in occasional business pursuits.

After several years of playing a famous actor on the HBO series Entourage, Adrian Grenier has become a celebrity in real life, and just as his show often explores the nature of fame in our culture, Grenier profiles a young man who is a unique product of our star-struck society in this documentary. One evening, while being pursued by a handful of celebrity photographers, Grenier noticed that one of them looked like a boy barely in his teens, and he later discovered that the paparazzo in question, Austin Visschedyk, was indeed just thirteen years old, but already working as a free lance photographer and earning up to 2,000 a shot for pictures of the right star. Home schooled by divorced parents who often give in to their young son's demands, Visschedyk prowls the streets of Hollywood at nights, keeping his eye peeled for a A-list personalities whose images are in demand from the tabloids and celebrity press, and while not all of his older colleagues care for Visschedyk, some admit that his youth makes it easier for him to find a cooperative subject. In Teenage Paparazzo, Grenier interviews Visschedyk, joins him for a night of stalking the famous and learns more about the nature of the celebrity press. But by turning a spotlight on his thirteen-year-old subject, is he only making his youthful ego more problematic? Teenage Paparazzo was an official selection at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Paris Hilton’s pricey birthday cake was snatched from party

It sounds like Paris Hilton’s 30th birthday party was perfect except for the fact that she didn’t get one bite of cake at the end of the night.
Paris’ cake at her Hollywood bash was reportedly stolen from the party by a party crasher named “Paz,” states UsMagazine.com. “Paz” posted a message about the night on Facebook along with a picture of the cake: “I crashed Paris Hilton’s Birthday Party and Accidentally the Whole Cake.”
“Paz” then went on to talk about how he and a friend crashed the party, drank for free and then tricked security in order to steal the untouched cake. The cake reportedly cost about $3,200.
Do you think this bothered Paris Hilton at all?

Who Stole Paris Hilton's $3,200 Absinthe-Spiked Birthday Cake? Read more: http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/hwood_party_girl/b227101_who_stole_paris_hiltons_3200.html#ixzz1EN1SC9Xu

Paris Hilton
It's one thing to crash someone's party.
It's a whole 'nother thing to make off with their pricey, custom birthday cake!
But that's what happened to Paris Hilton during the first of her multiple 30th birthday bashes in L.A. on Tuesday night...

Paz, an uninvited guest who managed to sneak in with his friend to the Moulin Rouge-themed bash, wrote a detailed post on Facebook, (complete with photos) of how he stole one of her two custom cakes after a waiter told him they'd probably toss it.
"I hated the idea of something so awesome and expensive going to waste," the rapper and musician tells me exclusively.
Well, today, Lucid, the absinthe that was used in the liquor-infused confection (which was made by Hansen's bakery on their behalf) released a self-promotional statement.
"It is very unfortunate that someone stole the cake from Paris' birthday party," the company said. "We had the cake designed especially for her with Lucid in the batter and a beautiful representation of Lucid's artwork on it, which she requested to meet the Moulin Rouge theme of her party. We only wish that guests could have tried her delicious cake."
Well, some other people will still get a piece, according to Paz. "I'm bringing it a homeless shelter on Skid Row. There are too many people in this city who don't get to eat. They should get to enjoy something awesome," he tells me.
(Because liquor-infused three day old cake is what every homeless person wants, right?)
Paris' rep had no comment on Cakegate, but a source close to the birthday girl says, "She thinks it's so pathetic that someone feels the need to get attention like that."
Not that she's probably missing that cake too much. She scored yet another cake during her NYC fete at Lavo last night, and is celebrating her 30th yet again back in L.A. on Saturday at Beacher's Madhouse.

Paris Hilton Looks Kinda Sexy smile

I’m just as shocked and surprised as you are to see that Paris Hilton was actually looking pretty sexy on her way to dinner the other night. I’m impressed. I guess as she’s gotten a little older she’s started to realize that you don’t have to flash your vagina to everyone you see in order to get attention and be considered attractive…. Just don’t tell any of the younger hotter chicks out there.
